S-Crack

failed numerous times on the dyno/jump to the jug (12a at a bolt above a ledge)...crack above crux was my hardest onsight at the time (11c)...climbed with the late grate MARK SPRINGER...who flashed the moves on TR...only to fall leading the 5.8 groove to lunch ledge (suprised me).

Was caught in a thunderstorm while belaying up my friend Beelaycee (it was to be her first multi-pitch), thank you to the climbers on goodro's that helped us down...oh yeah and the date is wrong it was early summer/late spring in 95-96

This was the first recorded ascent of a 5.10 in north amerca (Ament, History of N. American Free Climbing). This is one of my most treaseured ticks even if it was be the skin of my teeth.

This was my first multi pitch route...i also did my first trad lead on this one...amazing roof up high...so cool...heard the beckey route to the right was better...cool bouldering on the ridge top between LCC and Bells.

try gripping a cracker, or your water bottle after this one...dogged my way up (fell just before the rest over the roof), but lapped it on t.r.
