3 out of 5 stars Redpoint

After a month in Yosemite (and then a month of no climbing) I was able to send this clean. I hadn't tried this one since I hung on it last year. The crux this time was a little lower for me, but I kept moving so I got through the upper crux quickly enough to stay on.

5 out of 5 stars Quick But Tiring

Did the whole thing in 5 hours, the descent was killer though because I was so dead. Gave the 10c a hell of a go but I don't have the slab skills and it was super hot when we were on it. I ended up aiding the bolts after about 3 falls and then OS the rest of it. Awesome climb though... cool to climb with El Cap peering over your shoulder the entire climb. I led most of the harder routes towards the top, and as a reward they happened to be the most aesthetic too! Now I gotta go back and send the 10c section free... can't wait!

4 out of 5 stars The Final Climb

Last climb in Yosemite... I can't wait to come back! Got the OS on this even though slap is not my forte by any means. Slipped once or twice at the crux, but I always caught myself at the little lip right below it. Easy climbing after words and some interesting cleaning because we didn't want to have to follow the route. Ended up both kinda swinging along the wall both tied in unclipping bolts where we could. A great last climb for sure.

5 out of 5 stars Win

Great climb and super sustained! Eleven days going hard in Yose before this one and it was a killer to pull the OS! Got up it and was super stoked on my last day here. I gotta get back and do the squeeze over to regular route as the finish.

4 out of 5 stars Thoughtful

These moves definitely make you think if you want to do them gracefully. I used barely any effort getting up this climb by using good body positioning. Awesome short climb.

4 out of 5 stars Missed The OS... Barely!

Almost stuck the first move off the ground but fell. I sent it the second try and got the redpoint. Awesome aesthetic route going right up the pinnacle. The crux is the first few moves to the third bolt but the quality climbing is the rest of the route.

3 out of 5 stars Warming Up

A good warm up route. I liked the bolted route just to the left a little more though. Fun, thoughtful moves on these two climbs

5 out of 5 stars Making Hard Harder

Pulled off the OS on this one, but definitely made some moves harder than they should have been. The bolt 3 mantle move I stayed right and did a super powerful thin layback move and around bolt 5, I went straight up on small crimps with no feet at all! A great climb though and glad to have gotten that OS.

5 out of 5 stars Great Fingers!

This was the best and longest finger crack that I have climbed! Continuous perfect finger jams are what I live for. The roof wasn't bad and the climbing above changed but was still super quality.

4 out of 5 stars Knobs

The enormous knobs are awesome for problem solving! I got pretty pumped on this route due to me taking a while to figure out how to get past the crux. Great route altogether though and pretty perfect for the grade!
