A beautiful climb! No need for all the bolts right beside the cracks though. But the 5.6 sections would be unprotectable if it wasn't for those bolts. A nice summit with amazing views of Rainbow Wall. I loved this climb!

P1 was my first .57 trad lead. And I got to finish the route with the nice run out 5.6R on P7. I couldn't decide if I liked this better than Crim Crys. . .But ti think the climbing on Ginger Crack is more varied so I may like this route better. . .????? I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!

Only lead P4 of this climb but it was still fun to follow the other pitches. P1 was a little tricky but only because I went directly up the face as opposed to making the traverse. Nice to have another 50 classics under my belt!

Almost easy enough to solo!The 5.8 variation is not your typical Eldo 5.8. It feels easier than the Bastille. I recommend the 3rd pitch as well. Making the roof move is a little awkward but all the holds are there and positive. To reach the rap anchors, scramble down the backside, angling right until it flattens out. Look for a notch in the formation. A set of rap anchors (1 bolt and 1 closed shunt) is located here. Do a short rap down to the trail. An excellent easy route. Perfect for after work.
