I lead P2 which is moving on a single row of #1 copper heads. This pitch is 80 degrees but you will be in your top steps the whole way to avoid adding heads. Near the top the pitch rolls back, you move up your aiders and actually stand in the eyebrows to get the next placement.

North face classic. My bro came to town so me and my partner wanted to work his butt. Three of us did it in one push. Bro lead thru 3 and cleaned the rest.

I think P2 is the single best pitch I have lead on The Glass. I nailed 7 beaks on the ascent and loved the whole thing. The beginning of P3 is no sleeper. Solid A3+ on sketchy heads.

P1 is a clip and go pitch. Their are multiple choices of fixed heads to clip or equalize. I was a little let down. The only thing I set on this pitch was one yellow/green alien.

Still need to do P4 but the others are great. Good place to move up to harder Aid. Solid nailing and scary hook over good gear. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

I like this climb better than Seceret Alloys because it has seen fewer ascents. Thus Less fixed gear. P2 is C1 with a little work. The water groove has little pro, but is only 5.7. Highly Recommended

Good route if you don't have time to do the whole thing. Do the first three their the best pitches. The top out is the scariest I've done so far. Due to the lack of ascents, the slab at top is lichen covered 5.8 with little to no pro. This is one that I will do again. In time this will be as big a classic as GM.

Good place to start your aid experience. Many say P2 goes clean. I nail on it. If you must use caution to do as little damage as possible. If you climb to P3 keep your rope hooked to the ledge so you can wrap down and do the swing off the ledge it is worth the jug back up to get your gear.

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

I have climbed the first pitch of this climb several times. It's agreat practice climb for camhooking. The latest time was solo clipping the bolts and only placing three pieces of gear I cam hooked the rest.

Have climbed P1 several times due to it being the only thing that is dry during a rain. P3 after the Brain Dead anchors is devious, it traversees right. I have to do 3 tention pendulums to get to the C1 crack and ending being at the same height as the belay before heading up the crack to a trad belay. Best top out on Looking Glass.
