5 out of 5 stars Barb Wire Canoe is awesome.

You can place a nut via a stick clip at the bottom of this climb to protect the dangerous run out to the first piece. Take Ballnuts and RP's to protect the central blankness.

FFA Cam Fairbairn and Phil Box, crux is hard and scary but the fixed pro is right there. Crux move is reachy so for short people the grade goes up.

FFA Phil Box and seconded by James Pfrunder. This is my hardest First Free Ascent to date. It will become a classic too as the climbing is fantastic.

Lee and I were the FFA team for this 3 star classic route. It`s hard to give a level of climbing when you are the FFA team as I`d like to be able to tick an FFA box instead of redpoint. I ticked redpoint as we had to work the route to clean it as well as bolt it where necessary.

Lee and I swung leads on the eight pitches of this one.
Highly recommended, take a 60m rope and 25 bolt plates and quickdraws if you wish to string the first two pitches together.

I spotted this climb about a year ago and came back this year and placed a necessary ringbolt so that subsequent climbers would not be tempted to place pro behind a block that I deem not safe for pro.
I got it after an earlier attempt that I backed off from which I downclimbed. If I had of committed to the move I would have pulled it off easy. I`ve now got my eye on an even harder climb just to the right of this one.

Way fun route that requires all the tricks in the arsenal of the traditional aid climber. Banging hardware in rock is the only option for ascending this route. Don`t even think about trying any sort of free ascent, it aint ever gunna happen.

I worked hard for this spectacular climb. After pulling the lip I was ready to give the climb up but I downclimbed back to the Odin block and had a 20 minute rest and then I sent it. Woohoo.
