This is a beautifull friction
face climb, with little crimpers. Its all feet.
This route only had 3 very old
rusty bolts that were very
untrustworthy.
So, Bill Coe, Kelly Warden, and myself, rebolted this route last weekend.
We placed 5 stainless steel 3/8inch bolts and hangers strait up the middle.
It turned out beautifull!
And I got the first lead once
we were done!
I believe this is now the best
sport route at Rocky Butte!

I've done this one a few times
now, only on toprope, but I
think I've got the moves worked out, and will lead this
one this summer.
In my opinion, an 11a rating
is a little high for this one,
it felt more like a 10b to me.
