Got it on the first try this trip. Tried once before, but was already too fried from a whole day's worth of climbing to complete this route. Spent 3 weeks at the gym working my finger and fist jams after that failure. Apparently it paid off.

This probably isn't a 5.6, but I'm just a noob, so what do I know? Lots of fun variations to add some difficulty here. Please be kind to the tree!

always a fun climb just for the heck of it. Coached a few beginners up this one that day too. It's fun just to run up and down the slab, working feet, "turning off" holds, etc. The TR pro is minimal, but adequate. Don't sling the tiny tree, it's getting more loose each time I go to DL!

I really enjoyed doing this route. It was a nice, steady climb/ w/out an obvious crux. The "step-across" is a bit of a stretch if you're not 6ft plus, but the footing is solid. This climb has a little bit of it all, and that's what makes it fun.
