Bring a rope
Great climb with nice exposure when you work up out of the roaring brook. Definitely 5th class climbing here(exposure makes it feel like more than that). I did it with g/f in hiking boots and no ropes but wished I had brought rock climbing shoes and/or rope. Massive runouts and if you got caught up there and rain came in you would be scared silly on the friction climb. The way we went required some bouldering moves straight vertical 10 foot rise with hand holds starting at about 7ft + up V0. The wet rock (sometiems unavoidable) is a ticket to a fast descent down the slide.
