Chalk and Granite is a showcase of some of the most noteworthy climbs around the Chamonix valley. We follow Charlie Boscoe, a long-time climber and mountaineer, as he ascends varying faces with many of the local climbers in Chamonix, from every type of climb - cragging to big rock.
In this episode, we meet Charlie as he heads up to the Col des Montets and attempts the Face Nord and the Petite Cervin, classic bouldering routes on the Col.

Charlie meets up with James to see how many Chamonix crags they can climb in a day... not ALL the crags, mind you, and certainly not the ones that are difficult to reach, but seven nonetheless!
After an early start at Servoz, they travel up the valley (courtesy of Mountain Drop-Offs) via Coupeau, Gaillands, Le Lavancher and finally Vallorcine. They completed some of the best (and hottest) crags in the valley with plenty of banter and ice cream along the way.
