No, I am not affiliated with Bent Gate Mountaineering (bentgate.com) or selling anything climbing related. Just another fantabulous RC.com user Though I am seeing a business opportunity. Just take any price you see on their site. Add 20% to it, and send me the money. I will provide daily feedback on your order.

pbcowboy77 wrote: http://onedaydeal.net/1climbomatic/index.php link cam 76 bucks I would not trust Climbomatic, and I don't trust shawn. Even his own fanclub is turning on him, and he ban's or erases anything negative someone says about him or his shipping. Anyone that says something, probably does have good reason. I do however support the idea, but its just too bad someone else couldnt take it up.....

Have you had any personal experience, or are you basing this on just other things people have said? Not that I think your post will be invalid or anything if you have no personal experience, more of just a curiosity.

Na, I have just gathered that from watching the hole thing go down from the start. Soon one complaint on shipping, then everyone. Even the people that support him the most are complaining. Just a hour ago he removed a post from a guy saying his shipping is shit, which it looks too be..I am not going to talk about it anymore though, maybe it will change.

Sorry, I know this is the "Hot deals" thread, but I've bought twice from Tradrack they outperformed both times. I'd order from them again without a thought. The only site I'd outright avoid is Mountain TOOLS. (not to be confused with Mountain GEAR who is way awesome! ). But thats me, your results may vary.

About "ClimbOMatic" and Shawn.
medicus wrote: Have you had any personal experience, or are you basing this on just other things people have said? Not that I think your post will be invalid or anything if you have no personal experience, more of just a curiosity. I certainly do. He hasn't shipped me something I ordered in February and another thing I ordered later (I'm stupid). He promised to refund my payments, but never did. Now he's not answering my emails. Added in edit: And as someone said above, he deletes my posts on his forum. I have seen several stories just like mine. Sorry to be blunt, but the guy is a thief. It's a great scam. Fall for it if you like.

http://onedaydeal.net/1climbomatic/index.php Petzl Tiblocs... 2 for $9... and magically the button to buy them is broken. More false advertising on things that climbomatic cannot deliver? For $9, I'd be willing to gamble on them delivering in a months time... but the button won't work dang it. Edit: Including screen shot of broken button for future reference.

medicus wrote: Edit: Including screen shot of broken button for future reference. heh, good call. they were starting to get back in my good graces, if only for the fact that they've had nice gear recently. this is suspicious to me though. i hope it's not some dumb ploy, can't help but wonder though

(For those of you wanting a hot deal, Woot is having a Woot-off -- this means a SAC-like extravaganze where new items go up once previous items sell out. If you're a Hot Deal Thread Purist, stop reading now, as the rest of this is about Climb-o-Matic). you dummies.. it's an April Fool's joke. Sure, most people delivered their April Fool's jokes on April 1st, but this is Climbomatic, and as always, they're behind :) Seriously, I've been debating taking them off my morning shopping routine because the deals usually aren't that good and they've got such a bad reputation on shipping. I saw the Tiblocs this morning and tried to pick them up.. but like the rest of you, I was stopped. I decided to check this thread knowing full well I'd see this traffic.
