The Total they give me seems to be allittle high. Do I have to enter the 51112 Code at the end of the GOOGLE checkout part? You shouldn't have to reenter the code. The shipping will be added to the google order until you contact a rep with a free shipping riddle to get it removed. Sometimes they are able to remove the shipping charge from the order and sometimes they just send a check. Not sure why, probably just depends on the rep.

Guys, I have tried Numerous times to get the free shipping using the Mayday Malone Riddle. They WILL NOT give it too you. Reason is that you already use a keycode for the 20% discount. They only allow the use of one. I have tried the tricks....

I've done it a bunch of times in the last couple weeks but I guess your mileage may vary. Here's the transcript from my last chat on 11/25 where I got credit on five orders at once all of which I used the 20% code on. System: Thank you for contacting Sierra Trading Post. Our average time to answer is 17 seconds. A customer service representative will be with you shortly. System: You are connected to Hailey. Hailey: Thank you for contacting Sierra Trading Post. My name is Hailey, how may I help you? Me: Hi Hailey! I just placed orders for some tents and I wasn't able to put in the free shipping riddle because I used Google checkout. In the past I've always been able to contact livehelp and get the shipping credited back to the google order. The answer to the riddle is Mayday Malone. The order numbers are below. Can you help? EG103168 EG103166 EG103164 EG103161 EG103153 Hailey: One moment while I look up that information, thank you. Hailey: What is the riddle answer? Me: Mayday Malone Hailey: One moment please, thank you. Hailey: The shipping charge will be removed. Me: Thanks. You guys are great. Have a good weekend! Hailey: Thank you, you too. I guess I'd still give it a shot. You can always cancel the order if you the shipping makes a difference.

It does look like the Mayday Malone riddle expired today though so maybe that's the probelm. Here's a link where you can get new riddles and codes as the come out... http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?catid=18&threadid=243140 Jim Carrey as the Riddler (key code 50243) should work.

I fudged it up a bit, but here is what they said when I just tried System: Thank you for contacting Sierra Trading Post. Our average time to answer is 38 seconds. A customer service representative will be with you shortly. System: You are connected to Dalana. Dalana: Welcome to Sierra Trading Post. This is Dalana, how may I help you? Martha Schutzman: Hi Dalana! I just placed orders for some tents and I wasn't able to put in the free shipping riddle because I used Google checkout. In the past I've always been able to contact livehelp and get the shipping credited back to the google order. Dalana: What is your order number? Martha Schutzman: Oooops, sorry, this was not for the tents, but for clothing Martha Schutzman: anyways, let me get the order number from my email Martha Schutzman: EG112178 Dalana: Just one moment please. Martha Schutzman: I also had a seperate order, but that one already has free shipping on it Dalana: Unfortunately, since you chose the 20% discount you may not have the free riddle. It is stated in the riddle "no valid with any other promotion or oversized item."

Crap, I wish I knew about this code before I bought my suunto vector from them. I paid $199.00 for it but I got free next day air shipping and a free daypack for a total value of 66.00. so I really just paid $133.00 for my vector. Was that code good on the suunto vector and is it still valid?

Doubt it - they probably woke up and said "oh shit"....it was too good to be true. They did refund my money and apologized with a free shipping code. Thanks for posting it. Sounds like a couple customers got their Christmas wish on this one.

http://backcountry.com has some good gear marked down. Click on the "secret stash sale". C3s, zeros, forged friends, powercams, and a few ropes 20%. tricams 20-40%. 3-season tents and locks of backpacks 20% also. Not a whopping discount, but if you were planning on picking any of these up for Christmas it beats retail.

Thanks for the REI code (WMFRAN6), mich! As it happens, I was looking at the Bandits and needed chalk. FYI, I noticed that my cart showed 25% off of anything over $100, not just the first $25. As for steepandcheap, you can check http://www.sacattack.com to see the inventory numbers on the item on hand. And there is a gear swap forum, if you want to sell something.
