I am looking at getting a new pair of Newtons or resoleing the ones I have and trying something new. ANy opinions on the 5 10 Stoneslands lace up?

Your #1 problem is that this is another shoe thread. No one can say what works best for your feet but you.
The other problem may be that the Stonelands are a new enough shoe that most folks haven't been able to try them. Based on 5-10's promotional description of the shoe, one could only guess at how they will perform.
Try them out and let us know!

I bought a pair 2 weeks ago and my only complaint is that they are sized small. I had to go up to a size 12 from my size 10 street size and they still fit tight. Haven't climbed in them yet as we are in blackfly season here.
