I made it to the anchors on JJ, but was too gassed to clip. I told my belayer I was falling, and as you can see the draw actually failed on me. Luckily I was at the chains and didn't deck. It's an OmegaLite biner, I'm not sure if it got cross loaded or not, but it was a fairly small fall and I'm not that big of a guy. Climb with caution in Echo Canyon!

Testing the strength of a double headed figure of eight with one ear not attached. Conclusive evidence states that this is just as secure as though it had both ears attached. The load strand fails, the ear doesn NOT pull through. This shot shows the load cell numbers.
