About Kalk Bay:

Steep short and very powerful climbing on immaculate smooth quartzite. Set above the picturesque harbour of Kalk Bay. Crag condition is unfortunately very prone to weather subtleties, If onshore wind (SE) the rock will be very slippery, look out for a westerly wind. Best time of year: Autumn (April-June)
Nearest town or city: Cape Town
Directions: Drive to the end of 'Boyes Drive' in the direction of Kalk Bay. Park in the cul-de-sac on the right before the road drops down to Kalk Bay. 20min uphill hike on an established path, at the saddle head left up to the crags.
