About Hong Kong:

_______________________________________________________________ Contrary to popular belief, Hong Kong actually has numerous cliffs and crags scattered among the 40% National Park territory in HK. Despite Hong Kong being described as an 'urban jungle' with masses of skycrapers, rock climbing is becoming more and more popular here. Just one example of this is in the construction of many indoor facilities and an increase in routes. So, whether you come here to top rope the Shek O sea cliffs, boulder in Tsuen Wan, sport climb the infamous Technical Wall of Tung Lung Chau, trad lead Kowloon Peak, or if multi pitch climbing takes your fancy, take a shot at HK's classic Lion Rock; Hong Kong has some amazing climbing, all well within reach from the urbanised city.________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are coming to Hong Kong, may I suggest that you join (or at least check out) www.hongkongclimbing.com - hongkongstuey's site. There is a well established forum where you are bound to find partners, and detailed guides on all the climbing spots here________________________________________________________________________________________ If you happen to find a page locked then PM me and I'll unlock it... also please don't lock pages unless you have a very good reason too... otherwise I can just unlock them myself.________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________ |
