Shamirpet Lake is situated about 20 kms north of Secunderabad. It is an artificial one, built during the reign of the Nizams. Its beautiful rocky terrain gives us ample opportunity to use our skills to navigate around the boulders while keeping an eye on the lake and surrounding water bodies…sure is a sight for sore eyes.
