About Pantai Siung:
| Siung Beach, locate in Wates Villages Purwodadi. Kecamatan Tepus. Yogyakarta. the special thing about this area is that it is located on a beach that is very unknown allowing you to have a peaceful place to climb mostly to youself. The rock is locate beside the beach. P. Siung has over 40 routes to climb that were mostly all developed thanks to a couple of Japanese Climbers. most notably are: "Pacaran Route (5.12)", "welcome Route (5.11d)" and "9 Bor (5.10)". The grades range from about 5.9 - 5.13. There are plenty of routes to satisfy a week or more of relaxing climbing. Note that due to the location of the rocks we highly advise that you check the conditions of the hangers for damage before using them. |

| Directions: | Pantai Siung is located about 70km outside of Jogja. You head towards Wonosari, then turn towards the beach. But because of the lack of signs and amount of small roads that you must take, it is highly recommended that you go with a local climber from jogja. as for parking there is a large free parking lot in front of the beach. from the parking lot you will see the cliffs (it is hard to miss), head in that direction, you will see the paths. |
