About Turtle Rock:
| Great slabs, crack and potential sports routes. Almost everything that you put your hands on can be first ascent. North of the Turtle rock, there several walls (4-5 pitches), have not been climbed previously. Rock formation: Monolith granite, very similiar to Joshua Tree National Monument, maybe the crystals are little larger. |

| Directions: | About 90 km west from Ulaanbaatar. Ask anyone in UB, how to get to Terelj or the Turtle rock. As of 98 summer, to hire a taxi cost 20000 Tugriks one way. Hitchhiking is indeed legal and fun! |
