| Indian Head is on Fraser Island which is the largest sand island in the world. The sand is anchored in place by the volcanic outcrop known as Indian Head and the smaller outcrops of Middle Rocks and Waddy Point. |

| Access Issues: | You have to have a 4wd and also a mrecreation pass and a camping permit to drive and camp on the island. The beach is a designated highway and all vehicles have to give way to aircraft as they also use the beach as an airstrip. |
