About Kinder North (OS):

About 3 miles in total length, with about 200 routes in the lower grades on good gritstone. Can get and stay cold because of it's high elevation (2,000 ft.), but there are some great routes, and on a nice day it is a great place to avoid the crowds. Depending on which area of the crag you are on, the routes range from 30 to 70 feet long. Worth a visit, but wait for a nice warm spell. |

| Directions: | OS 110 GR SK 093 898 Alt. 607m 4 miles SE of Glossop. Take the A57 Snake Pass road east for 4 miles to the Snake Inn. About 400 yards farther up on the right is a path over a footbridge, which follows Fair Brook to the crags in about 40 minutes. |
