About Symonds Yat (OS):
Not a bad crag, a lot of climbing to be done here. A friendly place offering plenty of enjoyment to the beginner and intermediate climber. Almost 500 routes never longer than 100 feet in all grades. Easy to set up topropes here, but watch out in the summer, the nettles can be thick, making climbing in shorts a BAD idea! Nice easy parking, tea shacks everywhere, and a good pub for lunch down on the river! |
