Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, belonging to France but closer from the Italian west shore than from France. Though very close from Sardinia, the Island of Corsica offers almost no limestone : the main geological features are made of granites or schists. There's a lot of multipitch trad or sport/trad mixed routes. The nice sea is another good reason to get there. You can climb all year long there, just depending on the elevation as some crags are of alpine style and depending on the winds as this island can be blown away by speedy air streams, like in Bavella...
