About Rossfels:

Nice limestone climbing with lots of pockets and cracks. The Rossfels sits about 1000ft above metzingen and has an excellent view. There is a glider landing strip at the top of the climb which is also nice. most routes are 20-25 meters long and there are about 5 toprope anchor sites. About 30 routes in all, most between 5.7-5.10
Nearest town or city: Metzingen
Directions: From Metzingen head east and turn right twoards Glems. Once at Glems take a left onto country roads and wind up the paved trail to the top of the cliffs. The climbing area is at the west end of the glider landing strip. There is a large cross with a sign-in book at the top of the climbs.
