From Garmisch about a 3 hour walk to the south. A bike is recommended. Make sure you get to the Partnachklamm after 18:30, otherwise you a) have to pay and b) can't take your bike with you.
Added 28-08-07 by hannerl: from garmisch to the old olympic stadium. from there to the partnachklamm canyon (opening=paying times: 8°° to 19°° in the summer, 9°° to 18°° in the winter). the klamm gets very crowded during the day, and no bikes are allowed once they're open. with bikes, there's a way around the klamm over graseck (long & steep but works). |
