About Heiliggestwachter:
| (per Falcon Guide's Rock Climbing in Europe) This is the smaller subsidiary tower immediately west of Heiliger Geist. Several classic routes ascend to its rounded summit. |
| Approach: | Drive through Kastraki until you're below Doupiani Rock. Turn right onto the only street here and drive through the north part of the village until the road reaches a 'T' junction below the southwest flank of Heiliger Geist. Turn left and park at a convenient pullout. Find one of the several trails that cross the meadows below the high cliff and hike northeast to the base of the obvious south ridge of Heiliggeistwachter. The tours on the opposite side of the tower are accessed by parking farther north up the road and following a trail to the base. |
