About The Hawkcraig:

This is an amazing crag overlooking Edinburgh from the Fife coast. On a clear day the castle and the Pentlands can be see to the south and the Forth rail bridge to the west. The crag is tidal so be sure to know when high and low tide are and there can be nesting gulls in the spring and early summer so be warned.

Nearest town or city: Edinburgh
Directions: Coming from Edinburgh drive to aberdour via the bridge following signs for Markinch the Aberdour. Cross the railway at the station, turn down the first right past the school and park in the car park. Follow the path to the crag via the hotel
