About Woodbury Bluffs:

Woodbury Crag is a crag near Woodbury Creek north of Nelson. The crag faces east and is very clean (by Kootenay standards). The crag is several hundred metres wide and 40 to 70 metres high. Most routes are half pitch sport climbs, although there are a few two-three pitch routes and some mixed routes. Go here and you'll have the place to your self as it's still off the radar of most area climbers.

Directions: Here are the driving directions: Take highway 3A/31 north from Nelson to Woodbury (marina). Just after the marina, turn left (west) onto Woodbury FSR (signed for Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park). Set your odometer to zero. 0 km = highway 31 and Woodbury FSR 1.1 km = go right onto Woodbury-Fletcher FSR (left is Woodbury Creek FSR) 1.5 km = gated road to the right (stay straight) 2.4 km = spur road to left (stay straight) 3.0 km = road to right blocked by boulders (stay straight) 3.9 km = go left (at switchback) onto Spur 200 4.3 km = go right onto older road 4.9 km = park on far side of deep cross-ditch with creek. Look for cairn on near side of cross ditch on uphill side of road. The trail heads up a broad ridgeline angling to climbers right. You should reach the base of the crag in ten minutes.
