About Luskville:

This is a great place spread over 3 or 4 areas, with hard old granite and a nice variety of trad, bolts (to 5.13c or so) and some nice slab climbing. Some hiking and a beautiful view of the valley. Only a half hour from Ottawa. Book by Peter Slivka of VR 'Selected Climbs and Sandbags Around the Eardley Escarpment' Dated (1995) but good maps and many good climbs and projects that are now climbs. Newer book with many more routes 'Climbing on the Eardley Escarpment' by Yann Troutet, available at MEC and other fine outdoor retailers!
Nearest town or city: Gatineau
Directions: Take the Champlain Bridge and take your first left. Follow this road to its end. Turn left on to Chemin Aylmer. Soon after, turn right on to Chemin Eardley near red brick buildings. Follow this road until it becomes a two-lane highway. About 10 minutes after the road splits, you will see a sign on your right for Gatineau Park and Luskville Falls picnic ground. Turn right on to the sideroad and follow it until you reach the picnic ground. There is more information in the Quebec section on Luskville under Eardley Escarpment
