About The Bluffs:

the BLUFFS The focus of Tbay's top-roping for the last 25+ years. The Bluffs routes offer much for traditional leading, as well as many face climbing opportunities. Park in the lot overlooking the Giant and head east down the path. Routes listed from parking lot to the east. Only longer routes were listed. Shorter climbs are included as bouldering sections. There are few sport routes at the bluffs due to the height and thus bolting is frowned upon at this climbing area. One may find the grading difficult here. When most of these climbs were attempted there were few 5.9's in the world. To those pioneers, 5.8 must have been as hard as 5.12 today. To respect their efforts, some of the easier grades may feel harder then they are listed and this guide will respect this history. Bouldering begins below the parking lot. These areas have been climbed and in the older guides for the Bluffs they are already named and listed. No first ascents here. These areas are the Willy He Make Wall located just past the parking lot, Betty Won't Bluff a couple minutes walk further along, and Sabre Wall which is just past Fancy Footing Wall (see map).
Approach: Good, multi-use, recreational bush trail. Enters to top of crag. Various well travelled descent paths to base of climbs.
