About Mount Orford (Pic aux Corbeaux):
Located in the Parc du Mont Orford provincial park. Serious Development here began in the 90s, and it is now one of Quebec's nicest sport climbing areas. It also has superb unclimbed lines that could be the future of hard sport climbing in Quebec. This area doesn't have many routes under 5.10, and would not be an enjoyable destination if you can't climb at that level. It is now seeing development for routes in the hard 5.13 range, and can be a nice place to log some hard climbing on beautiful gneiss. |
