About Le Champlain:
Quebec city's little gem. Located in the city itself, it is an easy prey for urban craggers. It is a small slightly overhanging cliffband with toprope anchors all over it. Some of the climbs are barely protectable for the lead. The classic routes are in the 5.11, 5.12 and 5.13 ranges. |

Directions: | Located under the Pierre Laporte bridge. There is a road going under the bridge, (Champlain Boulevard I think). If you're REALLY slow it could be like a 1 minute hike. The Le Pylône area is accessible via a trail at the top of the cliffband (5-10 mins), so if your fingers are tired of crimping, you can log some easier climbing there. |
