About Ixcatan:
| Please put in a safe place all your belongings that you leave on the car (or take them with you). I have found myself with some vandalism. (a broken glass on my car) after a tour I took. These robberies have lately increased since the spot where the cars are left is in the middle of nowhere and you have to walk for about 2 Km. so by the time you are back, you may find you probably yourself in an awkward situation. |

| Directions: | Ixcatan is just an excellent place to practice some good rock climbing. There are some small geisers you may also want to take a look at. Just follow the road to Ixtlahuacan del Rio for some 25 Km. A detour to Ixcatan should show up. Cross the town. Keep going for some 18 Km. Park your car and go down the small road that goes to the geisers. This should lead you to some routes. |
