From I-17 take the Highway 69 Exit and head west into Prescott. Turn left on Mt. Vernon St. and drive south approximately 3 miles, this road becomes Senator Highway. Turn right into Goldwater Lake Recreation Area. Follow the lakeside trail East. Look for a wooden fence near the East most point of the lake and cross it. Walk 100 yards off of the trail to the Carcase Boulder. You should be able to see the tip of the boulder pile from the fence. |
