| Elysian Buttress III 5.7 is a 5 pitch route that was first ascended by Scott Baxter, Karl Karlstrom, and Erik Powell in the 70's. It is the largest middle red butress on the north east flank of Mt. Elden. WARNING: This area was affected by the 1977 Elden fire. The rock is very brittle. Wear a helmet!! |
