About Knob Hill:

Park at Sven Slab area and continue down the road to the obvious hill with rock to the east. This area has been added to the McDowell Mt. Preserve so it is not legal to drive down the road to the base of this hill. Do so at your own risk. Most of the signs stating that it is illegal for motorized vehicles have been removed by unknown parties. There is a good selection of climbs here if it's too cold on Sven Slab area. Many of the climbs are south facing.
