About Arkansas:
"The Natural State"With the Ozarks, the Boston, and the Ouachita Mountain ranges, Arkansas has a plethora of classic routes, most on high quality Atoga or Savannah Sandstone, which has a rougher texture and is far more bomber than the Wingate Sandstone of the west. There is also a good amount of Limestone to be found as well. The Northwest region of the state boasts some of the easiest access and cleanest crags located close to urban centers. The Central part of the state has such areas, as well as extensive formations to be found deep in the heart of the Arkansas forests. |
