About Southeast Face:

The huge, steep face of Clyde Minaret looming over Cecile Lake.
Approach: Can be approached from two ways. Minaret Lake trailhead is a bit longer (~9 miles) and has more elevation gain. Follow signs for Minaret Lake; once past the lake, follow cairns up the right side of the small valley until you reach Cecile Lake. Skirt Cecile Lake to the left and ascend talus to the base. Shadow Lake trailhead is shorter (~8 miles) and has less elevation gain. Follow signs towards Iceberg Lake, passing it on the left, and up an obvious use trail to Cecile Lake. Pass Cecile Lake on the right until you can hike talus to the base.
