About The Dark Castle:

This is visible from the Poppy Field Boulders as a large northwest-facing formation up and to the left. Approach from either the main wash or the Poppy Field Boulders.
Approach: Park at the 2nd exhibit pullout driving in via the 29 Palms Entrance, with display titled "Bounty Or Barren." DO NOT hike up into the rocky Valley of Voices. Walk the flat wash to the right of the tall right hillside forming the Valley of Voices. When you get near, Dark Castle can be seen from this main wash, looking up to the left.
