This is the area with Trashcan Rock as well as a few other rocks a bit further from the road. Trashcan Rock is one of the more popular spots for groups and beginners so expect lots of people. |

Directions: | Trashcan Rock lies 5.9 miles from the Park's West Entrance, right there in the Quail Springs parking lot on the right side of the road. AFPA Rock is the next big formation across the road. Walking trail going west from the parking lot leads to Baskerville Rock and Hound Rock. Further on and up the rocky hillside is the White Cliffs of Dover. Beyond that and further to the southwest is the Johnny Lang Crags consisting of the Fissure King Formation, Evil Tree Rocks, and Tottering Tower. |
