About Bowman Crag:

South of Bowman lake. A quality crag of highly featured granite that reminded me of Williamson. Unfortunately the base is a steep sloping dirt slope :(
Nearest town or city: Emigrant Gap
Directions: Take I-80 East till the (20) East: Nevada City Exit. Follow this East for 4 miles, till the Bowman Lake Road turn on the right. Turn right here, and go 13.9 miles down Bowman Lake road. At ~10 miles the road turns to gravel. Follow this down a hill where you will pass a large cliff on the right (new routes are going up here). Cross a bridge over a small stream, then proceed up a hill. At 13.9 miles the road curves right. Look for the pull out on your left. Approach the Main Wall by scrambling down the gully to the left. The side wall is directly down the central gully on the right.
