About Sugarloaf:
| Excellent granite area sitting on a hill above the tiny town of Kyburz. Climbs up to four ptches here on high-quality granite in an area that is climbable most of the year. This is where Hudon and Jones did Hookers Haven (5.12a) 1978, Captain Fingers (5.12c) 1978 and Yaniro did the Grand Illusion (5.13c) 1979 at age 17. Lots of cracks at all levels as well as some good face climbing too. |

| Directions: | Located along Hwy 50 about one mile from the small town of Kyburz. Park along the south shoulder of the road and follow the trail up to the rock. Stay on the trail and off of private property when approaching. Plan on 20-30 minutes for the hike. |
