About Mount Diablo State Park:

Boy Scout Rocks and Sentinel Rock are popular spots for climbing (mostly top-roping I believe).
Nearest town or city: Walnut Creek
Directions: take 680 to mount diablo rd. and keep following the signs to the park boy scout rocks are back across the road from rock city and down a small side trail there are bolts at the top for top roping.
