About Culp Valley:
| Culp Valley offers a concentrated boulder field ensuring fun climbing throughout the winter months. The rock is similar to Josh with dark metamorphic intrusions making for fun and unique problems. Hundreds of boulders dot the valley offering established problems as well as potential for new lines. Crash pads are a must due to some absurd landings. NOTE: a permit is now required for anyone exiting their car within the park boundaries. The fee is $5, which includes one night of camping if desired. NO GROUND FIRES ALLOWED. |
