About Mt. Tamalpais:
Mt. Tamalpais (or known to the locals as just Tam) is known for its world-class mountain biking, hiking trails, and redwood trees. However – there are four great slabs to climb on, ranging from 25’ to 45’. They can be set up with a toprope, but I’ve seen people trad climb the Northern Formation. This is a great place to go if you live in SF or the North Bay and the usual places out east are too hot or you don’t feel like driving that far. |
