About Hole-in-the-Rock:

across the road from the top of Gibraltar proper, walk to the right of parking clearing to find easy scamper up to an elevated terrace. above this is a short formation with a deep hole on the face just left of the arete. remnants of a beehive inside there, but the place has long been over-run by ants apparently, all bees torn to shreds and devoured to make more of these effing ants that just wouldn't stop eating you too while you climb
