The Dome
About The Dome:
The Dome is a beautiful sunny piece of granite a half mile from the entrance to Boulder Canyon. It is the first major climbing area in Boulder Canyon, and is easy to reach by bicycle. Routes are mostly 2-3 pitches long on fantastic rock. Park at the large lots on either side of the road. Head down to the trail, and cross Boulder Creek. Turn right on the climber's access trail, and then turn left up a steep trail a few hundred feet from the footbridge. The approach is steep and strenuous, but only takes about 15 minutes. |
