About Clear Creek bouldering:

Lots of bouldering on (mostly) quality gneiss blocks. A great winter area as most boulders face south and dry out about as quickly as Morrison. Consequently it is brutally hot and greasy in the summer. The problems tend to be on the highball side, so a couple of pads and spotters make nice companions.
Nearest town or city: Golden
Directions: Take U.S. 6 through CCC and park in the pullout at mile marker 268.00. The boulders are in the gulley on the north side of the road. Expect lots of bushwacking in the warmer months.
