About Table Mountain South:

Note: This area should not to be confused with the southern table top mountain in Golden, has a short mesa top composed of Dakota sandstone. Good climbing area between CO Springs and Canyon City This area is now off limits and closed to climbing. It's pretty much all been quarried out anyway. R.I.P.
Nearest town or city: Colorado Springs
Directions: Take I-25 south to CO Springs and take Exit 140. At Highway 115, go South to Canyon City. At Fort Carson travel South/West for 15.5 miles. After a long turn, take a right on a dirt road, go up hill to the top. Park in a meadow Follow a trail that will take you up a small hill, this will take you to the scree field below the crags.
