About Cascade Canyon:
| SUMMER climbing!!!! Cascade is at about 9,000 feet and is fun in the summer and turns into some good ice climbing in the winter. Pretty decent climbing mostly upper level sport climbs. |
| Nearest town or city: | Durango |
| Directions: | North on 550 from Durango. After about 25 miles you'll pass Cascade Village on your left and then about a 1/2 mile later you'll go around a BIG curve. Pull off the road right after the curve, you'll see a sign saying Lime Creek Road. Park at the parking spot about a few hundred yards off the hwy. Follow the trail into the canyon. |
