| Colorado Naitonal Monument is the beautiful area of sandstone canyons and towers just south of I70 between Grand Junction and Fruita. Otto's Route is one of the best easy desert tower climbs anywhere, and lots of other good hard free and aid routes exist on the towers here. The monument also hosts many splitter crack lines and someslab climbing on the endless canyon rim walls. Many first ascents are awaiting climbers with a sense of adventure. |
